The Center for International Criminal Justice serves as a hub for advancing international criminal justice and for academic cooperation across the ICC’s Asia-Pacific region. Our work is made possible through international grant funding and the generous support of individuals and organizations in Japan.
How your support is used
The Center operates on a financial foundation that combines international grant funding with donations from within Japan. Contributions from our supporters are directed primarily toward the following activities:
One-time donations
We welcome one-time donations of any amount at any time. We would be grateful for whatever support you feel able to give toward the advancement of international criminal justice. All donations are applied with care to the activities described above.
Supporting Membership
For those who wish to support us on a continuing basis, we offer a Supporting Membership program.
Individual
JPY 10,000 per year
(JPY 5,000 for legal apprentices and early-career researchers)
Corporate
Supporter JPY 100,000 per year
Partner JPY 500,000 per year
Leading Partner JPY 1,000,000 and above per year
Supporting Members receive acknowledgment of their names in our reports, copies of our publications, and invitations to members-only seminars.
Corporate Members are additionally offered opportunities for collaboration through institutional cooperation—including co-hosted events, joint research, and personnel exchange (see “Institutional Cooperation” below).
Donations to Keio University qualify for tax deduction under the applicable procedures.
As the coordinating office of the ICC Asia-Pacific Academic Network (APN), the Center works with universities, the legal profession, and international organizations to advance education and research in international criminal justice across the region.
