A Hub for Academic Dialogue in the Asia-Pacific Region
- The Center serves as the coordinating secretariat of the Network. In this role, it supports the organization of an annual forum and plans and administers related workshops, symposia, educational programs, and other activities.
- The personal connections fostered through the forum are expected to extend beyond academic exchange and, over time, develop into a regional network that supports the rule of law.
A Think Tank for International Criminal Justice
- The Center promotes wide-ranging research centered on international criminal justice, and disseminates its findings broadly.
- Through the education of students and early-career researchers, short-term training programs for practitioners, public seminars, and open lectures, the Center aims to become a center of knowledge open not only to specialists but also to the broader public.
An Intellectual Corridor Connecting the World and the Asia-Pacific
- The Center collaborates with international organizations, including the ICC, as well as research institutions in Japan and abroad, such as the Nuremberg Academy. It conducts seminars, training programs for practitioners, and exchanges of views.
